3)Use Specific Hashtags
Hashtags are very powerful marketing tools. As a business you need to focus on two types of hashtags.
A)Relevant niche-focused hashtags; These are hashtags where your customers can be found, people have different interests and they often identify their interests based on the hashtags they follow or interact with. The Instagram algorithm is such that, they monitor their user’s behavior and show them more of what they interact with.
So, if you are a manufacturer and sell shoes to shoe retailers, they are most likely following and interacting with hashtags that have to do with shoes.
Hashtags are where your customers can be found, so the first step is to do regular consistent research of the relevant hashtags that will bring your business to the notice of your target audience.
I said consistent, because trending relevant hashtags constantly changes, for the fact that it is relevant today does not mean it will be relevant tomorrow, so it’s very important that you do consistent research.
B)Branded hashtags; These are hashtags with your brand name in it.
For example, if you sell shoes and the name of your store is Zara, a simple hashtag could be #Zarashoecollection2021
This type of hashtag is very powerful in building your brand awareness thereby increasing the number of your followers and influence resulting in more sales.
